You probably don’t know this in 2002 Bush signed a bill that allowed illegals to gain access to Medicare and Social Security. The Democrats were angry and all voted NO while the RepublicTURDs all voted YES… In this new healthcare bill the Democrats all voted to make it illegal for undocumented workers. “Illegal immigrants would not be allowed to buy health insurance in the health insurance exchanges.”

The right to bear arms is considered by most people not to include nuclear warheads.
As you can see, the Constitution has always been in need & will always be in need, of interpretation.
Being open to interpretation, the limits that are inferred by the Constitution, will change over time. So thinking of the Constitution as being carved in stone… would be inaccurate. The Constitution is subject to cultural & socioeconomic evolution. Sorry. It might not be ideal, but that’s reality.

It’s a limited representative democracy. However those limits are allowed to evolve. YOU are not the god-given interpreter of the US Constitution. That’s the job, primarily, of the Supreme Court.
If you think the Constitution is not open to interpretation – you are either not intelligent or under-educated.

Yes, we do have a representative democracy electing offices to vote on behalf of the majority but Under the constitution. This form of democracy is also in lesser form known as “semi” democracy then again allah forbid who knows how many hundreds of different forms or usage of democracy there are. It’s absolutely ridicules. Not to mention I understand your point because democracy can be used in a flawless amount of ways or forms, but my case was purely law abiding not representative.

Take it to a Law abiding ordeal. As a Republic we are to relinquish an ideal process of establishing grounds through the basis of common ground laws of the constitution. Not by man alone. Therefore when we elect elites that sway on votes for the majority in higher citizen committees they are to do so under constitution. Hence, Republic Constitution. Not by pure Democratic means of Amending and contradicting nearly every for of the constitution merely because a majority voted for it.

We have a representative democracy. Have you read the Federalist Papers? In it, Madison explains rule by the mob is a bad idea, but that rule by the elite is a bad idea as well. The American system is a hybrid. The goal is for the mob to elect elites. Thus it is a form of democracy, but it is not a direct democracy. It is a representative democracy.

No Republican president in the 50+ year span has ever balanced the budget. The Democrats have balanced the budget five times during the same time span. Clinton did it four times and Lyndon Johnson did it once. The last Republican president to balance the budget was Eisenhower.
